Role- Mechanical Estimator
Location: Northampton
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
The Role
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tenders for a wide range of mechanical building services projects. Working closely with the estimating team, you will assess project documentation, prepare cost estimates, and contribute to successful bid submissions.
Although projects are delivered nationwide, this is primarily an office-based position in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
* Price mechanical building services installations across a range of project sectors.
* Produce accurate take-offs and cost breakdowns.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
