Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Permanent role with a basic salary of up to £38,000, working 40 hours Monday‑Friday across multiple sites in St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn and Merseyside.
Responsibilities
- Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for mechanical plant rooms, pumps, valves and plumbing.
- Maintain basic air handling units (AHU) and fan coil units (FCU).
- Perform checks and compliance duties such as water and tap temperature monitoring.
- Install small works and carry out emergency repairs.
- Handle all ad‑hoc maintenance tasks across the sites.
Requirements
- A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial‑grade plumber.
- Experience with plant rooms, AHUs, FCUs and similar equipment.
- Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
- Excellent client‑facing skills.
