An employer is seeking a Mechanical Process Design Engineer in the Cincinnati, OH area for a contract opportunity. This individual will be joining the test, systems, and engineering team of a large aerospace company and will be supporting the system process design for the test cells. In this role, you will design and lead the installation of hydraulic, fuel, lube, and compressed air piping systems from a mechanical engineering perspective. This includes specifying and selecting fluid flow components such as pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers. Responsibilities include defining and managing the installation of vendor-provided mechanical systems including hoists, ventilation, fire protection, compressors, and pumps. The piping systems will be designed in accordance with ASME B31.1.
