Mechanical Services Engineer Up to R60 000 CTC

Job Responsibilities

• To maintain the plant and ensure that uptime is at a required standard
• Control Maintenance costs according to the budget
• Purchasing of Spares and Equipment
• Manage projects
• Liaison with suppliers
• Implementation of all Safety aspects within the Plant
• Investigate and make recommendations with regard to improved performance of plant and machinery
• Must be strong on decision making and problem solving, finding ways to improve efficiency of an operation
• Manage artisans with regards to performance, discipline, etc.
• Training and development of staff
• Stand in for the Plant Engineer in his absence when required
• Dealing with all Engineering aspects within the department, e.g. planned, preventative, breakdown maintenance and stock levels of spare parts.
