Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Typist to join their busy medical practice. This is a temporary position, ideal for someone with strong medical terminology knowledge and excellent typing skills who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Transcribing dictated audio files into accurate medical letters and clinical reports
- Editing and proofreading documents to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and use of medical terminology (e.g., IVF, ICSI, OHSS, AMH, HyCoSy, Hysterosalpingogram, azoospermia)
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with privacy laws and legislation
- Managing and updating electronic and paper-based patient records using systems such as Genie
- Liaising with clinicians, nurses, and administrative staff to clarify dictation, verify patient details, and resolve discrepancies
