A merchandiser is a strategic role that involves analyzing sales data, sourcing new products, updating systems with the latest products and maintaining planograms for optimal product placement. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure that products are displayed attractively, priced competitively, and readily available to meet customer needs.
1. Analysis and Sourcing
- Identify the button 10 lesssaleable items weekly
- Find replacement of items
- Seek approval during weekly meetings
- Phase out the approved items and replace them with incoming items
2. Sourcing and Procurement
- Source new merchandise from reputable suppliers based on market trends and customer demand.
- Source corporate order to immediately serve client
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of new inventory to maintain product availability.
