Purpose
The Musselwhite Mine Metallurgy department is currently seeking a Metallurgical Co-op/Intern for a 12‑month work‑term who wants to gain on‑site mine and milling experience through a work term placement.
Responsibilities
The Metallurgy department provides opportunities for students to gain exposure to optimization projects involving unit operations such as Crushing, Grinding, Gravity, Leaching, Carbon‑in‑Pulp (CIP), Elution, and Water Recycle. These experiences can provide insight into various aspects of gold production, including safety management, project management, process automation, metallurgical test work, data analysis, and engineering design.
- Learning the milling process from the production floor
