Overview

Within Englobe's Metallurgy and Corrosion team, the Metallurgy Inspector works on specialized inspection mandates related to various infrastructure projects such as bridges, buildings, transmission lines, oil tanks, and telecommunications towers.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong autonomy in a field environment, the ability to work on complex, multi‑site projects, and sustained availability for extended assignments outside of Quebec. Frequent travel across Canada to remote or isolated work sites (assignments of 2 to 3 consecutive weeks) is required.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections of welding work according to applicable standards;
  • Conduct non‑destructive testing (MT, PT, UT) in accordance with recognized procedures;
  • Assess the condition of assets based on procedures specific to various Englobe mandates;
