Job Summary
My client in the metal industry is seeking a Millwright whowill ensure maintenance including problem solving, ensure minimum downtime.
Qualifications
- Qualified and Trade Tested as a Millwright
- Must have at least 5 years work experience inthe steel industry
- Must be prepared to work shifts
- Weekend work is required on a rotational basis
- Sound knowledge and experience in mechanicalworks
- Knowledge of PLC control systems would be anadvantageous
- Must be prepared to work overtime scheduled orunscheduled outside of the normal hours
Duties & Responsibilities
- Checking and inspecting machinery, placingorders with buyer for parts and reporting issues to the Maintenance Manager orSection Head
