Job Overview
Ross Machine Shop Limited is looking for fulltime MILLWRIGHT or MILLWRIGHT Apprentice to join our team in Regina. At Ross Machine Shop you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of distinct projects such as Valves, Gearboxes, Bearing Assemblies, Rebuilding of Pumps, Motor and Pump Installations, and Laser Coupling Alignments.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a JP Millwright or Millwright Apprentice with 1 year of experience and must be able to pass practical tests.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, align, take apart and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, cylinders, conveyors, furnaces and generators using hand and power tools according to layout plans
