Key Responsibilities:
Legal & Statutory Compliance
- Fulfil the duties of a legally appointed GCC Engineer (Mines & Works)
- Ensure compliance with the MHSA and all relevant regulations
- Oversee engineering legal appointments, audits, and inspections
- Maintain and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and safety systems
Engineering & Asset Management
- Lead and manage the engineering function across:
- Mobile mining fleet (excavators, trucks, dozers, loaders)
- Fixed plant and infrastructure (crushing, conveyors, pumps, etc.)
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to:
- Improve equipment availability and reliability
- Reduce downtime and maintenance costs
