Mining Engineer - Senior Level (Hybrid)

The role – what you’ll do

Barr is seeking a senior mining engineer to join our mining team. In this hybrid role, you will support the Engineering and Design business unit group on mine design and mine planning (both short- and long-term); sequencing and scheduling, including implementation planning and development sequencing; ore blending plans; mine reclamation plans; report writing; overall mine development mineral project studies (scoping through feasibility); and economic analysis. This person will provide technical expertise as well as oversight and management of various mineral projects involving both ferrous and nonferrous minerals.

Administrative responsibilities such as business development, project management, project planning, budgeting and scheduling, and workload estimating are also part of this strategic role.
