MOTOR MECHANIC

Description of the Position to be filled:

– Undertake motor vehicle services, carry out repairs of engines, the transmission, the suspension systems as well as undertake electronic diagnostics at an efficient and professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform Tyre changing, wheel alignment and wheel balance.

– Discuss problems with car owners to discover faults, listen to engines and operate special test equipment and test drive vehicles to ascertain faults

– Determine cause & effect of identified problems and determine best course of action

– Repair and replace worn and faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmission, differentials or steering gear etc.

– Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced parts or assemblies

– Use of proper tools to make sure they are working properly and put them back into the vehicle.
