The MS Project Planner will own and maintain detailed project schedules for complex defence and technology programmes. The role supports the Project Manager and PMO by turning project scope into a realistic, trackable plan and keeping all stakeholders aligned. Candidates with a defence or military projects background are especially welcome.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and update project schedules in Microsoft Project (and related tools).
- Break down work into tasks, durations and dependencies with project managers and engineers.
- Track progress against key milestones and critical path; highlight delays and risks early.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to keep timelines realistic and current.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards and “what‑if” scenarios for management.
