Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Networking, the Network Analyst and Student Intern Coordinator implements, maintains, assists in planning and troubleshoots network/telecommunications equipment. The incumbent may also be called upon to install, maintain and support software utilities and applications associated with the main Cisco networking systems and the telecommunications (voice/video/data) environment on an as needed basis as determined by the Director of Networking. This position is expected to assist in maintaining 7 day by 24-hour up time for all critical network segments.
Required Qualifications:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES : Network Analyst 80% of Resource
1. Installs, maintains and troubleshoots mostly Cisco Local Area Network ( LAN ) hardware and Wireless Access Points, primarily layer 2 switches. Also includes physical fiber/copper troubleshooting, patching and running. Some OSI layer 3 work and higher as the individual’s skill set permi...
