Network Support Engineer | Enterprise Switching, Security & Multi-Vendor Infrastructure
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking experienced Switch Engineers to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network switching systems within enterprise and telecom environments. These roles are crucial for ensuring smooth data and voice traffic flow, network stability, and security. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, supporting network upgrades, and troubleshooting performance issues to maintain operational continuity and support strategic network initiatives.
Software Requirements
Cisco Catalyst / Nexus switches (or equivalents) — hands-on experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and management of enterprise-grade switches
CLI (command-line interface) — proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting switches via CLI commands
Network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar — experience supporting system health monitoring...
