Nurse Practitioner (Instructor)

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Instructor position include both teaching and service. The successful candidate will contribute primarily to the academic development, delivery, and evaluation of theory and clinical practice courses in the Master of Nursing Nurse Practitioner program, including clinical education instruction, skills and simulation instruction, as well as clinical objective structured examinations. The incumbent will integrate scholarship into theoretical and clinical teaching; provide leadership in the integration of relevant concepts related to the nurse practitioner programs; provide leadership in ongoing curriculum revision; provide leadership in the integration of entry level competencies for RN(NP)s in Nurse Practitioner Program courses and collaborate with professional and community organizations.
