Nurse Practitioner

Kamloops Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a collaborative, team-based primary care environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care to youth and adults in the Kamloops area who are connected to MHSU services. This clinic-based position at Kamloops Mental Health & Substance Use Services Centre focuses on longitudinal primary care and coordinated, culturally safe care tailored to the needs of this population.

In this role, the NP will serve as the Most Responsible Provider (MRP) for an attached patient panel, providing full-scope assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions. Responsibilities include panel management, proactive attachment, continuity of care, and participation in shared on-call services, where applicable. As an MRP, the NP will obtain and maintain privileging and credentialing with Interior Health.
