- Operate the terminal system (including jetties) according to the company's work procedures by efficiently carrying out the Daily Action Plan, updating the daily checklists and shift logs in order to keep track of the most recent procedures and track activities.
- Ensure compliance with all HSSEQ rules and regulations, including wearing the appropriate PPE, and assume suitable role(s) stipulated in the terminal's Emergency Response Plan (ERP), in order to guarantee safety of the terminal, the employees and the individual.
- Properly perform checks on the terminal systems (moving and non-moving), undertake routine checks and house‑keeping on a regular basis and supervise mooring crew activities, in order to guarantee safe procedures and prevent failures to the terminal system.
- Learn how to and, if certified competently, independently perform: WDO, sampling, tank gauging, valve and pump checks, pump strainer cleaning and operating waste water system.
