Job Description
Ensure all shipments are efficiently processed, recovered and dispatched in accordance with customer requirements.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Processing of Import shipments in coordination with our forwarding agents and customs clearance agents
- Processing of export shipments sent within the UPS network
- Coordination of pick-ups and deliveries within Switzerland and surrounding countries in cooperation with Marken subcontractors as well as scheduling of own drivers
- Performing all shipment activities of shipments within Switzerland and surrounding foreign countries, such as monitoring pick-ups and deliveries, confirming arrivals and departures of import and export shipments (air freight as well as UPS network), correct shipment handling and in case of delays and/or deviations, coordination and implementation of corrective and/or immediate remedial actions
