Operations Engineer
Position Summary
The Operations Engineer provides technical support and engineering analysis to field operations, focusing on production performance, troubleshooting, and execution of routine operational activities. This role partners closely with field personnel and cross‑functional teams to optimize well and facility performance, support safe operations, and improve efficiency, while developing deeper technical expertise in production systems and field execution. This position supports daily field operations for producing wells, facilities, compression, automation systems, and water handling by delivering engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization recommendations. The Operations Engineer executes engineering‑driven initiatives, including production optimization, root cause analysis, capital project development, and completions support. The position will be based in Pinedale, WY and reports to the Vice President – Operations in Denver.
