Operations Manager (fruit)

Position available for an Ops Manager in Kirkwood area. You will oversee the operations of a packhouse which includes the quality, logistics, HR and packing programs.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12


2. Tertiary qualification preferred


3. At least 7 years experience in fruit industry in a pack house environment (preferably citrus)


4. Knowledge of GlobalGAP, SIZA and Food Safety

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee various departments


• Budgets


• Conduct performance management for staff


• Ensure workforce is optimised


• Adhere to various safety and compliance standards


• Oversee admin and HR

 This position requires you to work long irregular hours in season. During off season you will work shorter hours.
