Position Overview
Waddington Europe is recruiting Operators for the Thermoforming Department at our Bridgwater site.
Shift Patterns
- 3‑shift pattern: 6 am‑2 pm Monday‑Friday, 2 pm‑10 pm Monday‑Friday, 10 pm‑6 am Sunday‑Thursday (7.5 hours per day, full time)
- 2‑shift pattern: 6 am‑2 pm Monday‑Friday, 2 pm‑10 pm Monday‑Friday (full time)
Responsibilities
- Operate allocated machine, ensuring product quality meets required standards.
- Load machine with appropriate material and maintain correct cycle speeds.
- Carry out all manual and visual tests/checks as per procedures.
- Label all goods leaving the department properly and attach required documentation.
- Schedule break times in advance with the Shift Manager and provide flexible coverage.
- Attend scheduled machine at start and end of shift.
- Assist in training less‑experienced staff and provide guidance.
