Job Description
We have an opportunity for an Operator to join the team at the Waitara Transfer Station in a part time role.

We’re looking for a responsible and self-motivated individual to take on a part time role at the Waitara Transfer Station. If you enjoy working in a team while being a major part of the community, take pride in keeping things running smoothly, and are committed to safety and service, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an 8 hour per week role, worked Saturday and Sunday.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate the site independently during your rostered shifts
- Greet and assist customers with waste and recycling drop-offs
- Give advice to customers on waste diversion opportunities
- Operate machinery and equipment safely (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant site
- Monitor site activity and report any issues or hazards
