Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide optometric services such as vision tests, eyeglass prescriptions, contact lens fittings, and medical eye treatments
- Conduct consultations with patients regarding their visual needs
- Perform basic eye health exams such as glaucoma tests
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to analyze patient’s vision conditions
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all patient visits and treatments
- Provide patients with product information related to optical devices
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Optometry or related field from an accredited institution
- At least two years of experience as an optometrist in Abu Dhabi or the UAE
- Ability to relate positively with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
