Packing supervisor durban

Our client, a leading Manufacturing / Production company based in Durban, is looking to fill the position of Supervisor (Packing Plant).

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will be required to ensure planning, supervision and leadership of the shift, and safe operation of the production process by leading initiatives to control, achieve technical KPI's and to provide support in improving the running of the packing plant.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise the packing plant team. Optimisation of the packer machines for efficient production. Ensure production targets are met daily. Perform daily and monthly stock reconciliation. Compile daily, weekly, monthly production reports. Ensure accuracy of inventory stock, plastics, and empty bags.
