In this role, you’ll bring your craftsmanship and attention to detail to the forefront—preparing, treating, and finishing aircraft surfaces to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and appearance.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Interpret engineering drawings to identify paint preparation and application requirements.
+ Prepare hangar and aircraft surfaces by applying safety absorbent, stripping old paint, and cleaning surfaces.
+ Assist with positioning and moving aircraft into appropriate bays.
+ Mask, unmask, and re-mask aircraft to protect windows and other sensitive areas.
+ Remove contaminants, sand, grind, buff, and apply putty or sealant as needed.
