Job Details
Job Title: Painter and Decorator
Rate of Pay: £14.46 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Weekly Contractual Hours: 39
Location: Mitie Painting, Mason House, 10 Mason Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England, NR6 6RR
Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating
- Prepare walls and perform minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting
- Erect access equipment as required, with appropriate training and necessary access plant and temporary screening
- Monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required
- Ensure all works are carried out within the approved budget
- Ensure painting and decorating equipment is best utilised, kept clean and reused
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification or minimum of 5 years checkable experience in painting, preferably with a recognised apprenticeship
