Position Details:
The Part-Time EMS Instructor provides instructional support for Emergency Medical Services programs. This position delivers classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction in accordance with program policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and national EMS requirements.
Responsibilities:
+ Deliver didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction for EMS courses.
+ Evaluate student performance and maintain required academic and skills documentation.
+ Comply with program, college, and accreditation policies and procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Certificates and/or degrees relevant to Emergency Medical Services education.
+ Current Texas DSHS EMS certification at or above the level being taught and relevant field experience.
+ DSHS Instructor certification.
