Passive Fire Installer/Carpenter
Location: Auckland, Temp, $30‑$35 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Install passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping (penetrations – pipes, cables, ducts, etc.).
• Install fire‑rated walls, ceilings, and compartmentation.
• Apply intumescent coatings and structural protection.
• Seal penetrations to prevent fire and smoke spread and maintain fire ratings.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and fire engineering details.
• Carry out reinstatement works (linings, insulation, seals, barriers).
• Complete QA documentation, photo records, and compliance tagging.
• Identify defects/non‑compliance and complete remedial works.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth installs around services.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site.
