PAT Testing Engineer St Austell

JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in St Austell. We offer self‑employed positions with flexible hours, allowing interested individuals to work either part‑time or full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a variety of sites including hospitals, retail outlets, and other workplaces to conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Pack and maintain testing equipment and record books in the vehicle before each job.
• Perform PAT on a wide range of electrical appliances such as microwaves, kettles, computers and other items.
• Use test instruments to determine the safety of appliances and make recommendations for repair, replacement or safe usage.
• Inform users of testing results, explaining any issues found and the reasons behind appliance suitability.
• Record findings in dedicated PAT test report books or electronic systems.
