Robert Half Ltd are working with an organisation based in Abingdon that are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a temporary basis. Reporting to a senior payroll lead, you will support payroll delivery, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process payroll data accurately and on time
Validate calculations and support final payroll checks
Complete monthly variance reconciliations and reporting
Act as a key contact for HR and employee payroll queries
Build strong relationships with HR to support a collaborative approach
Maintain compliance with payroll policies and controls
Assist with improving and documenting payroll processes
Skills & Experience
Experience in payroll or finance administration
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time management skills
