PBS Program - Grade 7/8

Position Status: Interim FTE: 1.0 Primary Responsibilities: In addition to co-teaching 0.9 FTE in a Program of Choice classroom, the 0.1 FTE teacher of Inclusive Education Programs will help develop a clear framework for specialized programs, using research-based strategies such as the Autism Report of Canada (2022), Trauma-Informed Practices, and Mental Health supports. This role involves creating helpful guides, supporting staff learning, and ensuring students receive consistent support. The teacher will also develop learning resources and personalized tools to assist students with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, ODD, and learning disorders. Working closely with ECSD staff, consultants, and external experts, the teacher of Inclusive Education Programs will help set high program standards and support professional development.
