Pharmacy Assistant (Bank)

Location: The Priory Hospital, Birmingham. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and covering for staff during annual leave or absence. Bank shifts.

Applicants should meet the following criteria

• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Completion of, registration for or attendance of a General Pharmaceutical Council accredited pharmacy assistant’s course.
• Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
• Experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.

Duties of this role include

• Support the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational and governance based medicine management service.
• Top up and distribute medicines to all areas of the hospital.
• Stock management of medicines within the hospital.
