Pharmacy Assistant
The Alexandra Hospital – 37.5 hours per week, permanent. Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification). This full‑time role covers a flexible shift pattern and is based in the Pharmacy department of The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group.
We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision.
- Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments.
- Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, helping maintain accurate inventory across the pharmacy and clinical areas.
