Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in safely and efficiently preparing medications for patients in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment. You retrieve medication from stock, count and package orders for pharmacist review, maintain clean and well-supplied workstations, support inventory replenishment, and ensure pre-packaged auxiliary items remain at appropriate par levels. You occasionally contact patients for customer service calls and follow up on shipped orders, while working within multiple computer systems to provide accurate medication details and clinical information.
