PhD in Structural Neuroscience: Cryo-EM & Vesicle Architecture

Kanton Bern is seeking a highly motivated PhD student for an interdisciplinary project on molecular composition and architecture of synaptic vesicle pools. The position, starting August 2026, involves comprehensive tasks including neuronal cell culture, cryo-electron tomography, data acquisition and analysis.

Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree in life sciences or related fields and have experience in neuroscience or structural biology. A collaborative environment and access to advanced research infrastructure are provided.
