**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Perform phlebotomy procedures to obtain specimens for laboratory testing. Transport, process, and perform clerical duties as necessary fortestingpatient samples.Reports to: Lead Phlebotomist, Lab Manager and Laboratory Director.**
**What You Will Do in This Role**
+ **You will greet patients and instruct them in proper specimen collection methods.**
+ **You will draw blood specimens from patients by using finger sticks, heelsticks,or venipunctures and collect other specimens asrequired.**
+ **You will label specimens for identification purposes accurately and enter specimen data into the computer.**
