Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine

Physician Assistants (PA) are academically prepared and are highly skilled health care professionals who provide a broad range of medical services. As important members of the collaborative care team, Alberta Health Services (AHS) provides alternative job opportunities for PAs to act as health care extenders, working under the supervision and direction of a physician to complement existing services and aid in improving patient care. Physician Assistants are fully regulated health professionals in Alberta and must be registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). In this position the PA will deliver acute care to patients at South Health Campus within a multidisciplinary team in General Internal Medicine.
