Summary This vacancy is for a WG-4204-10, Pipefitter located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Logcom, Base Cape Cod, Facilities Engineering Department in Buzzards Bay, MA. Responsibilities You will serve as a Pipefitter and be responsible for the installation, modification, and repair of high-pressure piping systems, as well as conducting inspections of, and troubleshooting, various new and existing piping systems, and identifying irregularities and existing and/or potential problems. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of steam heating, sanitary and storm drainage systems, and low-pressure air according to specifications and plumbing codes.
