Pipefitter

A Pipe Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems used for water, gas, steam, and other industrial processes in construction or industrial projects. The role includes reading blueprints and technical drawings, measuring and cutting pipes, fitting and joining pipes using welding, threading, or sealing techniques, and ensuring proper alignment and leak-free connections. A Pipe Fitter also inspects piping systems, performs repairs and maintenance, and follows safety standards on site. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

Candidates typically hold a NC II (National Certificate II) in Pipefitting from TESDA or have a Certificate of Employment (COE) demonstrating relevant work experience in pipe installation and maintenance.
