Requirements & Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in urban, town, or regional planning, specifically working within an Australian/New Zealand consultancy, local council, or directly on ANZ commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
- Statutory & Policy Compliance: Comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of relevant state-based planning legislation, zoning frameworks, local environmental plans (LEPs/DCPs in AU, or RMA/District Plans in NZ), and assessment pathways (such as Development Applications, Complying Development, or Planning Proposals).
- Software & Systems Proficiency: Highly proficient in standard industry tools, including GIS mapping software (ArcGIS/QGIS), property intelligence platforms (such as Cordell, Landchecker, or Planning Portals), and standard project management software.
