Job Description
A Senior Planning Supervisor responsible for analyzing and resolving production shortages, leading the planning team, and driving continuous improvement across production, inventory, and customer service processes.
Responsibilities
- Attend production meetings, analyze shortages and/or non‑conformities in materials, machinery, and equipment, and make decisions related to balancing production by work area and personnel distribution in coordination with the manufacturing supervisor.
- Participate in the validation of production processes.
- Lead and support the planning team based on material availability and distribution.
- Attend Customer Service meetings and improve delivery dates for orders according to customer needs.
- Maintain continuous communication with the direct supervisor (Materials Manager) to keep them informed of production situation, progress, problems, and solutions.
