Plant Process Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding

Your Contribution

As a Plant Process Engineer reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the monitoring and optimization of the molding processes that are to be run within the MAHLE Tilbury facility. The Plant Process Engineer is also responsible for problem solving activities and continuously improving current and new product lines in the facility.

This Role Is Responsible To

• Develop predictive methods to eliminate downtime and throughput yield constraints. Drive future cycle time improvements and best practices.
• Develops, coordinates and troubleshoots the manufacturing process of plastic injection molding using polypropylene and nylon resins.
• Supervise the technicians, as well as plan Process Technicians’ activities across shifts.
• Develop the injection molding process for new tooling, including all molding machine parameters, peripheral equipment such as chillers and dryers.
