Platform Engineer, DBA

Position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.At Avature, the DBA team is responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure where our databases run, ensuring integrity, performance, security, backup policies, and service continuity across globally distributed environments.As a Backend DBA Engineer, you will work at the intersection of DBA, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams, contributing to automation, scalability, observability, and reliability initiatives while helping evolve the platform that supports our services.

Your challenges and objectives:

Develop tools and automations for environment creation, deployments, and infrastructure management.

Work with virtualization and infrastructure platforms such as AWS, KVM, LXD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Contribute to the design and development of highly distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
