Platform Operations Engineer

Hyatt is seeking an enthusiastic Platform Operations Engineer to join our Platform Operations team.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and product teams to support critical services such as content management, reservation, and loyalty systems on Linux platforms (RHEL and AIX).
Your responsibilities will include:Supporting middleware platforms and systems on VMs and containersAutomating routine tasks using Bash, Ansible, or TerraformParticipating in an on-call rotation for support and maintenanceManaging security vulnerabilities, certificates, and system upgradesThe ideal candidate will have:At least 4 years supporting Linux-based enterprise platformsExperience with web and application servers like JBoss/WildFly, Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphereProficiency in scripting and automation toolsKnowledge of networking, security, and ITSM toolsExperience with source control (Git) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, etc.)Preferred skills includ...
