Pollution Control Officer
The Pollution Control Officer is responsible to ensure that all environmental aspects of a solar power project from site preparation to commissioning are compliant with environmental laws, company policies, and sustainability targets.
1. Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations, specifically in air, water, and noise pollution control.
2. Coordinate with the Company E&S Manager in conducting environmental impact assessments and audits by a third party and/or local authorities to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, including environmental compliance requirements.
3. Prepare and submit required environmental reports and permits to regulatory authorities.
4. Develop and implement pollution control strategies and action plans to minimize environmental impact.
5. Implement regular monitoring emissions, effluent, and waste management systems to ensure they are within regulatory limits.
