Portfolio Accountant

We are looking for a Portfolio Accountant to oversee multiple property portfolios while leading and supporting a team of portfolio accountants. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across accounting deliverables and proactively resolving issues before escalation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and General Ledger

Prepare and review quarterly operating statements for assigned properties

Maintain and review general ledgers, including posting adjusting journal entries

Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for significant fluctuations

Manage intercompany reconciliations, billings, and allocations

Tax and Audit Support

Prepare year-end tax and audit workpapers, including schedules and reconciliations

Coordinate with external accountants and auditors and respond to information requests
