Post Foundation Pharmacist

If you are a newly qualified community or primary care pharmacist looking for a career change and have not yet gained a postgraduate qualification, or are about to finish your pre‑registration period in any sector, we want you to come and work with us at Velindre Cancer Centre. You will have a mixture of roles giving you experience in clinical pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, Aspetics and acute oncology services, all with the support of senior pharmacists. The role gives you a first step into your oncology pharmacy career.

We are a progressive department and are keen on developing the role of pharmacists. We currently have several pharmacists trained as Independent Prescribers who assess and prescribe for patients in areas such as breast, gastrointestinal and gynaecological cancers.
