The WPI Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for anticipated postdoc positions in mathematical science to begin in the Summer of 2027. All areas of mathematics and statistics are welcome. The successful applicants are expected to work with the mathematical sciences faculty in the department and develop a robust research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department. Candidates can also participate with WPI’s growing interdisciplinary programs, including Data Science and Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, or a related area. The appointment will be for up to three years with annual renewal based on satisfactory performance.JOB DESCRIPTION
